The MonPlex™ design uses a non-welded, "floating" plate pack contained within a rigid housing. This design permits thermal expansion and contraction with minimal stress on the unit’s components. A patented compression strip assembly provides a tight metal-to-metal seal. This design reduces stress and extends the life of the MonPlex™ unit.
Uniquely constructed plates, nested together with directional ribs providing support throughout the plate pack, form the MonPlex™ gas flow passages. Combine this with the flexibility in materials of construction and flow patterns, and MonPlex™ is the right choice for your gas-to-gas heat transfer application.
