 MECS Pilot Plants: In many cases after reviewing process description, conditions, and requirements, the application may turn out to be unique with unknown fibrebed service life and maintenance requirements.

Our mist eliminator pilot plant is constructed of 316 stainless steel and consists of an inlet quenching / spraying stage, mist eliminator irrigation spray, a high efficiency mist eliminator and an ID fan to overcome the system dP.
The pilot plant is about 3.0m long, 1.8m wide, and 3.8m high weighing approx 2 tons. It is equipped  with the necessary instrumentation to control the gas flow rate as well as to control the irrigation rates on the sprays. It handles around 600 m3/h gas flow.
Note that for the pilot plant, care should be taken to design the sample stream nozzle to get a representative gas sample. Recommendations for the sample stream sizing and location will be provided for the best performance and reliable data collection for full scale design.
It takes approximately 4 weeks to prepare the pilot plant for delivery to site.
