Most customers require a scrubber that will quench incoming gas, remove acid gases, and eliminate particulate. In many conventional scrubbers or simple caustic scrubbers, these three different functions occur in three different areas of the scrubber: a quench zone, an acid gas removal zone, and a particulate removal zone.
The DynaWave® is different from conventional scrubbers in that it uniquely handles all three of these functions in the same zone of the scrubber -- known as a Froth Zone. This straightforward approach reduces both capital and operating costs. Most importantly, this approach allows for minimal equipment inside the vessel, making DynaWave® an extremely reliable scrubber.
DynaWave® gives users many other benefits over conventional wet gas scrubbers:
Virtually unpluggable
Large, open bore liquid injectors
Non-restrictive, open vessels
- Only wet scrubbing process that can use a variety of reagents:
Sodium Hydroxide, NaOH
Calcium Hydroxide, Ca(OH)2
Calcium Carbonate, CaCO3
Magnesium Hydroxide, Mg(OH)2
- Simple to operate
- Low maintenance
- High on-stream reliability
- Zero liquid effluent
DynaWave® uses advanced technology to deliver cost-effective, reliable solutions to your air pollution control needs. |
